Download VirtualBox from https://www.virtualbox.org/ 2. Download zipped Virtual Machine from: http://fides.fe.uni-lj.si/~zigar/CAO/FILES/LinuxVM/Buster64.vdi.zip This is a virtual disc drive containing Linux Debian OS with everything you need for this course - SpiceOPUS, PyOPUS and lots of other packages. You can use it freely for your stuff. (username: vaje, password: vaje, root password: root) 3. Move zipped file Buster64.vdi.zip to a folder, where you will keep virtual drives (on Mac: /Users/username/VirtualBox VMs/). 4. Unzip the file. 5. Open VirtualBox and create new virtual machine. Name: CAO_VM (or however you like) Type: Linux Version: Debian 64-bit Press Continue. Choose approx 4 GB of virtual RAM. Press Continue. Choose "Use an existing virtual hard disk drive". Here, you choose the file you unzipped Buster64.vdi. Press Create. 6. Run and use the virtual drive. This virtual drive was in great part installed by Brane Ždralo.
